We are currently looking for a Functional Architect for one of our clients in the mining and metal industry.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $100 to $117 (based on experience).
12month contract.
Fulltime (37.50 hours per week).
Hybrid work: 2 remote days 3 office days per week.

Responsibilities:
Define develop and validate business requirements and solution designs for both business and IT stakeholders in alignment with the business vision strategy objectives priorities and drivers within the Commercial organization.
Contribute to the formulation of the Commercial IS&T strategy and roadmap.
Offer functional solution expertise conduct process analysis and provide consulting services across IS&T and Commercial teams including Sales and Marketing Distribution and Logistics.
Provide estimates for solution design and implementation and lead the selection of software products by leveraging knowledge from other subject matter experts (SMEs).
Evaluate design applications and system alternatives and offer recommendations to both business and IT stakeholders.
Oversee the overall quality assurance of solutions throughout the design build and testing phases of delivery projects including the review and approval of design and build deliverables.
Contribute to the design and implementation of integrated applications to ensure consistency with data models and standards.
Investigate and troubleshoot solution incidents and issues providing advice to delivery partners on suitable solutions.
Support delivery and operations teams with solution assurance problem analysis and troubleshooting as needed.
Participate in and support any procurementrelated activities related to system implementation vendor selection and software product selection.
Collaborate and contribute to digital architecture operational and other governance forums.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree or higher in IT Engineering or Commercial disciplines.
10 years of handson experience in solution design and delivery serving as an implementation consultant or lead solution architect specializing in sales and marketing applications.
Proficient in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) with functional experience gained through implementation consulting or collaboration within a solution delivery team.
Robust operational and functional process knowledge in OrdertoCash and Supply Chain domains particularly within manufacturing industries.
Indepth experience with Agile delivery methodology and design thinking.
Demonstrated expertise in business process reengineering process design and managing significant change.
Proven track record in implementing custom/bestofbreed systems (excluding SAP) and integrating them with SAP.
Outstanding collaboration influencing and analytical abilities fostering positive relationships with key business stakeholders.
Skilled in working across a network organization with multiple stakeholders in various regions and time zones.
Ability to balance depth and breadth delving into processes and solution details while maintaining a holistic view of the business and its value.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
Creative and innovative problemsolving skills coupled with logical and structured decisionmaking.
Experience in eCommerce/Customer Portal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales and marketing reporting/analytics and planning and SOP tools.
Holds Agile certification and possesses API integration knowledge.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its components.
Proficient in PowerBI with experience in reporting and analytics.
Sound understanding of master data governance.
Expertise in supply chain disciplines.
Experience with MS PowerApps or other rapid application development platforms.
Flexibility for occasional travel to Chicago USA.
