Full Stack Developer

THIS ROLE IS FULL TIME ONSITE AT OUR FOLSOM CA LOCATION WE DO NOT OFFER REMOTE POSITIONS.

Wellestablished company looking to add someone to our team and fill the Full Stack Developer position. We are looking for someone that wants to take their skills and leverage that into a career with our company and take advantage of our growth opportunities and expand their skill set. This is for a fulltime onsite permanent position at our Folsom CA location.

Our team has designed a webbased practice management software and are looking to expand our circle of developers to extend and maintain our project as its scales. Our application is evolving from a monolith to a system of distributed services forming a suite of independent features that function in combination and as standalone modules. Our existing codebase is built on a LAMP stack with a homegrown framework and a User Interface that is currently being updated from jQuery to VueJS. New services are being written in Laravel and are connecting to a MySQL Database. This is a querydriven application and employs advanced querying techniques against a vast database schema. We are seeking a person experienced in full stack development and system architecture.

The main responsibilities of this position will include the following:

Designing and developing front and back end solutions for new business requirements that are secure flexible and scalable.

Migrating features from a legacy application to a new application

Documenting solution specs and technical specs for new and existing paradigms systems and features

Coding and testing new and existing systems and features

Maintaining and fixing bugs for released systems and features

Transforming data from a legacy schema to a new schema

Required:

Laravel (Proficient)

PHP (LAMP) (Experienced)

MySQL (Proficiency must be able to read and write advanced queries and perform complex reporting and manipulation)

VueJS (Proficient)

Vanilla JavaScript (Experienced)

jQuery (Experienced)

SCSS

HTML/CSS

Good communications skills

Proficient reading and writing technical requirements

Experience with a Gitbased versioning system (BitBucket)

Experience designing distributed systems

Preferred experience with:

Atlassian Suite (Jira Confluence Bitbucket)

Ubuntu/Linux OS

JetBrains IDE (PHPStorm)

phpMyAdmin

Test Project
