This is a remote position.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development to join our team at MyTravaly. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to ensure the seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
2. Collaborate with the product and design teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional, user-friendly features.
3. Build reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
4. Implement front-end and back-end features using PHP-PDO, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, and API integrations.
5. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
6. Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve any performance or functionality issues.
7. Conduct thorough testing of features and functionalities to ensure the highest level of quality.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to projects as necessary.
10. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers when needed.
Requirements
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
3. Proficiency in PHP with PDO and MySQL for back-end development.
4. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
5. Experience working with JSON data and integrating with various APIs.
6. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
7. Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
8. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
2. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries, such as React or Angular.
3. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
4. Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
5. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
