We are recruiting a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer for a permanent position with an emerging leader in Radio Frequency products.
As a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware systems in close collaboration with our mechanical, hardware, embedded and software engineers to make sure the final product operates seamlessly.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and develop cutting edge communication systems
- Design and develop cutting edge platforms for electronics systems
- Work on projects from concept design to mass production level
- Work with various teams such as mechanical design, board design, RF design and FW
- Design/ develop the system accessories including wiring, connectors, and associated mechanical interfaces
- Working with contractors, vendors and suppliers on custom and off the shelf components
- Assist system integration, bring up, debug and testing. Perform design verification against requirements and specifications, and generate verification report
- System documentation
- Design to meet military standards, thermal and environmental constraint following industry-standard processes and procedures
- Providing technical support for hardware issues
- Troubleshooting and debugging performance issues
- Collaborating with other engineers
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware systems engineering
- Experience with military standard payloads for stationary/ vehicular/ airborne solutions
- Experience with board design, RF design, mechanical design
- Knowledge in digital systems, analog system, power supply
- Knowledge in RF, transmitter/ receiver architecture
- Hands on lab debugging/ measurement skills using Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, multi-meter etc.
- Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices
- Self-motivated - highly capable at planning out work and executing projects independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
