Front End Developer

As a Front End Developer you will be responsible for building the clientside of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. We expect you to be a techsavvy professional who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design.

• Develop new userfacing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to backend services.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders including backend developers and web designers.
• Maintain and improve website.
• Test websites across browsers operating systems and devices.
• Monitor website performance watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues.
• Stay uptodate on emerging technologies.
• Promote usability best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Front End Developer.
• Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 CSS3.
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS KnockoutJS BackboneJS ReactJS or VueJS.
• Proficient understanding of clientside scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery.
• Experience with asynchronous request handling partial page updates and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
