Job Description

  • General Responsibilities
  • Ensure transparent, timely and efficient implementation of all field-based activities and provide a channel for suggestions and feedback from the communities, and directly deal with the beneficiaries, and ensure access to the services to beneficiaries.
  • Internal & External Communication Relations:
  • Coordinate with the Project Area Operations Officer on the area action plans.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships and lines of communication with beneficiaries, local partners, and communities, explaining the nature of the project and liaising with them throughout the project
  • General Principles
  • The incumbent commits to observe discretion on any information related to the organization functioning. She/he will conduct her/his duties in respect of the Charter of Terre des hommes (Tdh) and Tdh Safeguarding Policy. She/he commits to ensuring a high level of children participation and will always work in the best interest of the child.
  • Tdh intervenes without any affiliation for politics, religion or financial profit. The incumbent will direct her/his activities and engagements without preoccupation with political, racial or religious affiliation.
  • SpecificResponsibilities
  • SUPPORT BOOTCAMP ACTIVITIES FOLLOW-UP
  • Responsible for coordinating training dates and following up on trainees.
  • Responsible for scheduling interviews with the pocs. learners in the Bootcamp.
  • Supporting the project administrative tasks related to the trainees at the centre such as filling and submitting their own schedules.
  • Support the operations officer in organizing training and registering trainees, as appropriate.
  • Coordination with the outreach workers and technical regarding venue management.

SUPPORT THE PROJECT ADMIN WORK

  • Maintain good coordination with the support service team, communication officer, and child protection officer.
  • Responsible for keeping the bootcamp facility and equipment.
  • Responsible for managing the Bootcamp, requesting and tracking of the major Bootcamp hospitality, supplies, and maintenance, and inform logistics in the needed support.
  • Support the logistics officer-premises in the follow-up of the cleaner and security guard.
  • Request and follow-up the support from the logistics officer-it Bootcamp in the installation and setting up equipment (software, laptop, printer ...)
  • Delivering payments to field teams and supervising the settlement of open advances.
  • Update and follow-up on the maintenance of the devices and request support from logistics when needed

OTHER RESPONSABILITIES

  • Facilitate and arrange for events and visits to the program.
  • Work closely with the operations officer to develop the operational bootcamp work plans, and update them regularly based on the assessment of the bootcamp.
  • Report and share the status of implementation, all lessons learnt and challenges per area with the project’s team

Job Requirements

  • Working conditions
  • Work requires field visits, physical demands prolonged standing and walking, frequent handling of light objects/ medium. Work may require routine travel.
  • Requirements for the position
  • Education / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant previous experience.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable individuals.
  • Demonstrated community outreach experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with extremely vulnerable groups.
  • Awareness of the security context and the political situation in Egypt for refugees.
  • Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually.
  • Good organization with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Desirable:
  • Previous experience working with refugees.
  • Previous experience working in a place that provides training.
  • Languages
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken is a must.
  • IT Knowledge
  • Excellent Computer literacy (software & hardware).
  • Excellent in dealing with e-learning platforms.
  • Skilled in MS Office package.
