Shift Available: Morning Shift 7am to 3:30pm / Monday to Friday

Job Description:

Driving a forklift, and lifting, weighing, stacking and moving 50 lb bags of product for about 75% of the shift.
These may be moved by forklift or by hand dolly.
Good housekeeping to be always maintained.
Work in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company rules and regulations.
Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e, batching mixers, pellet mills, grinders, grain cleaners; receives ingredients by truck and rail, monitors ingredients inventory levels.
Manufacture products to ensure that they meet specifications, and HACCP requirements.
Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and working in small spaces.
Driving will be required to complete certain tasks. Safe operation of a forklift is required.

Accountabilities:
Performing repetitive and standardized warehouse operations. Examples may include but are not limited to: Pulling orders generated from the computer for morning deliveries
Operate forklift (stand up reach truck) to put away, rotate, and pull pallets out of the rack
Operate pallet jack to load/unload trailers
Stacking, scanning, and wrapping cases with stretch film
Clean, empty trashcans, general warehouse maintenance
Wear Proper Personal Protective Equipment: Hardhat, Steel toe Boots, Freezer suit

Requirements:
Minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa
sponsored by a third-party employer
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, normally lifting an average
Weight up to 60 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 60-110 lbs
Bending, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment (Forklift)
Willing and able to work in Cold Environments to zero degrees
Willing and able to perform elevated work as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or Equivalent
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic use of a computer
Forklift certified or able to certified in 90 days
Experience working in a warehouse or plant environment
Experience with stand-up reach truck and high racking
