With a focused goal of expediting the advent of service robots Peppermint designs and makes commercial housekeeping robots from its factory in Pune and works across from its offices in Pune Mumbai Bangalore Dubai and Austin.

Overview
We are seeking a proficient and meticulous Fitter to join our esteemed team. The incumbent will be responsible for the precise assembly installation and upkeep of machinery and equipment in strict accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Utilizing an array of hand and power tools the Fitter will execute tasks pertaining to assembly maintenance and repair ensuring the impeccable quality and precision of fabricated components.

What The Work Looks Like:
  • Review drawings and blueprints to determine the materials methods and settings required for specific parts assemblies and processes.
  • Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize a range of hand and power tools for assembly maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform fabrication fitting working with various materials including sheet metal sheet paneling and modular fabrication as well as assembly using materials such as M.S S.S Acrylic and FRP.
  • Fit parts/raw materials into machinery and equipment ensuring accuracy and proper fit and employing tools to cut file plane bore grind and drill metal (SS & MS).
  • Knowledge of taper tools to perform tapping operations wherever and whenever required according to the workflow.
  • Inspect fabricated components to ensure correct sizing and adherence to specifications. Testing of the final assembled product when finished.
  • Replace or repair damaged or defective components as required and feasible.
  • Ability to quick grasp basic electrical knowledge electrical connections & routing knowledge Electrical cable identification.
  • Maintain troubleshoot and repair specialized tools and equipment as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines when working with machinery and equipment.

Skills / Qualities We Deeply Value:
  • Strong mechanical equipment knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in fitting and fabrication tasks.
  • Basic reading ability of technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Technical proficiency in utilizing various tools and equipment for fabrication and assembly tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of NCCNC codes and programming is advantageous.
  • Relevant vocational or technical training/certification is desirable.

Experience:
  • 2 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
