Fire Safety Supervisor

• To identify and support enhancements in fire safety and associated processes.
• Providing support, advice, and guidance on all aspects of fire safety.
• Developing and recording KPI’s related to fire safety to enable the monitoring of performance and the identification of areas for improvement.
• Development and delivery of fire safety training.
• Provide assistance to, and deputize for, the firefighting manager.
• Acting as a field expert within RDMC groups.
  

Responsibilities/Duties

Profil de candidat recherché :

SUPPORT FIREFIGHTING MANAGER FOR FIREFIGHTING TOPICS.

• Assist all departments of RDMC to achieve the organization’s fire safety objectives.
• Firefight in case of fire.
• Offer first aid when needed.
• Support the firefighting manager in the delivery of fire safety training.
• Support the firefighting manager to carry out audits.
• Carry out weekly and monthly inspections.
• Undertake checks of the fire systems and equipment.
• Support the firefighting manager to perform evacuation and emergency drills.
• Support the firefighting manager to prepare, implement and maintain fire safety plans.
• Assist the firefighting manager to coordinate and control activities in respect of HSE, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors.
  

DEVELOP SYSTEM

• Support the firefighting manager to develop, deploy and maintain the local standards, policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with RATP Dev Standards and international standards. (NFPA / Egyptian code for firefighting).
• Support the firefighting manager to ensure that RATP Dev standards, policies and procedures are deployed on all levels.
  

FIRE SAFETY COMPLIANCE

• Assist the firefighting manager to ensure compliance of on-site activities according to the safety plan, guidelines, and work instructions.
• Assist in undertaking legal compliance checks, inspections, and audits.
• DEVELOP FIRE SAFETY CULTURE IN THE SITE.
• Inform, instruct, and train employees to carry out their work in a safe way in order to prevent fires and injuries.
• Participate in the implementation of the fire safety training programs by providing inductions and ensuring Toolbox talks are organized.
