Finance Manager

This is a remote position.

A fully managed global cloud-based IT services company who is at the forefront of cloud products and services innovation is looking for a strategic Finance Manager to join their team.

A bit about the role:

The role is to set-up and support the Head of Finance in implementing and maintaining ongoing improvement of business processes, in order to funnel everything through their central platform.

Have Autotask as central pricing platform for regular pricing and margin revues

.

Development and ownership of the finance process

.

Liaising with various partners: tax firms, external audit & subsidiary accountants

.

Development of accounting policies and controls

.

Ability to model financial outcomes based off different strategies

.

Have accurate costing for intercompany expenses

.

Cashflow projections

.

Handle monthly financial cycles, tax returns

.

Bank reconciliations

.

Ability to identify functions that can be automated and work with the automation team to implement

.

Trend analysis

.

Producing accurate financial reports and information

.

Developing cash flow statements

.

Projecting profit

.

Managing credit

.

Providing advice in making financial decisions

.

Directing investments

.

Making financial forecasts

.

Budgeting

.

Managing risk of financial loss

.

International best practices

What it takes to succeed:

.

Qualified Accountant (SAIPA or CIMA qualified)

.

4-6 years qualification experience at least 2 in a top 5 audit firm dealing with multiple clients

.

Experience with Xero and good with systems

.

Experience with a UK company/clients

.

Experience performing VAT, PAYE, SDL, provisional tax & Income Tax for both South African and UK Entities

.

Experience in statutory returns: IT12, IT14, IRP6, IRP5

.

Ability & experience in working independently and remotely

.

Experience leading a team of at least 2 junior accountants

.

Experience in management accounts

.

Proficient in excel, word, outlook

.

Attention to detail

Very good communication

.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and an eye for improvement

.

Ability to deal with different departments and clients

.

Previous experience as a Financial Manager/Senior Accountant a big plus
