Training Manager Navigation / Engineering (Based in Mumbai)

ORGANIZATION:

Reporting to the Head of training based in Singapore, you will be in charge of designing, delivering, and managing the training of crew and The main responsibilities will be to identify the training needs, manage the training, and development of new courses for the seafarers as per the regulatory and industry Identify best practice training and development needs within the Technical Department through gap and job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with the Technical and Management

Crew development : Help build performing crew teams on board with a strong focus on quality, safety, operations, and technical Motivate the employees on board to Provide training reports for the visit and feedback on the vessel s preparedness for

Requirements

• Degree in Maritime - Shipping or related disciplines
  
• Minimum 3 years of maritime training and education experience
  
• Level of experience: Master, Chief A Chief officer or second Engineer be considered provided you have at least 2 years of shore-based training
  
• Experience in managing and developing a training program
  
• Sound understanding of training and development strategies
  
• Experience ashore in training, marine vetting, or technical and willing to travel and train on
  
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and dedicated to developing seafarers career
  
• Proficient in English including report
  
• People-oriented and passionate about developing shipboard
  
• Highly analytical with a proactive approach to finding
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with any
  
• Well-updated with the latest regulatory requirements and their
