Field Service Engineer

About Company:

We have been retained by a global industrial turbines manufacturing company and are currently looking for Field Service Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring achievement of services & spares revenue and profitability targets through preparation of plans / strategy for services & spares sales and marketing.
• Responsible for ensuring that the spares parts requirement and stock of the customers are replenished as per the predictive schedules and meet the demands of regular spare parts as well as emergency spares requirement of customers during breakdowns.
• Ensuring all support activities related to refurbishing overhauling troubleshooting and breakdowns are carried on for maximum customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring maximum revenue post warranty through predictive maintenance spares repairs insurance spares consumption and refurbishing
• Identifying business opportunities and new customer for Refurbishment business in Indonesian Market
• Developing initiatives for retaining customers like service enhancements bundled services etc.
• Ability to independently undertake overhauling &Trouble shooting activities of Steam Turbines both Condensing / Extraction and Back Pressure.
• Ability to independently attend to Product Performance Test at Customers location.
• Ability to assess Equipment Performance and advice customers on Preventive Maintenance.
• Interface with Regional Head Service based in Bangalore for coordinating with various departments for ensuring customer satisfaction
• Extensive travel is involved across country

Qualifications:

• Min. diploma degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
  
• Around 57 years of experience in Steam turbine overhauling and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of steam turbines
• Understanding of industry segments using steam turbines
• Apt in CRM
• Aware of service subcontractors & competition in the market
