Role : Field Researcher Marathi Give Grants

Over the last 20 years Give has partnered with hundreds of companies from large ones like ICICI HDFC TCS Google Microsoft Amex KPMG Coca Cola to newage startups like Flipkart Ola Myntra and others to drive corporate philanthropic giving in India. Through the India Covid Response Fund (ICRF) we partnered with various institutions globally to deploy INR 800 crore of institutional grants(CSR foundations & employee giving). In Oct 2022 Give acquired the CSR business from Goodera and combined with its own institutional giving practice launched Give Grants with a sharp focus on making CSR giving better in India.

Responsibilities
The Field Researcher will primarily be responsible for conducting the socioeconomic surveys (virtually / in person) with the help of handheld devices/laptops and blueprint consisting of survey questionnaires designed for the various stakeholders of the CSR projects.
PreEnumeration
Attend enumerators training sessions
Receive enumeration forms / questionnaires and tracker from Assessment Manager
Develop an enumeration schedule / itinerary and finalize that with the Assessment Manager During Enumeration
Conduct interviews with respondents
Record responses as instructed and update the tracker
Comply with the requirements necessary for conducting a successful interview
PostEnumeration
Ensure that all the designated surveys are undertaken
Ensure that all questionnaires are accounted for
Background and qualifications:
A min. of 2 years of experience in a similar role or a bachelor s degree in Anthropology/Economics/ Sociology/Development Studies/Public Policy/Political Science
Exposure or experience in any of the below cause areas (indicative list):
o Healthcare Mobile Health Units Elderly care Cancer care Nutrition and maternal health health awareness projects etc.
o Education Primary secondary and tertiary education support education infrastructure scholarships digital and STEM education remedial educationteacher training development of content etc.
o Skilling Vocational skills for youth women entrepreneurship development microentrepreneurs NSDC based employment generation and readiness programs etc.
o WASH Health and sanitation Improvement in infrastructure awarenessWater conservation rural development etc.
o Others Road safety improvement and/ or creation of community infrastructure restoration of heritage sites Disaster Relief COVID relief promotion of sports etc.
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to provide attention to detail to carefully follow instructions relating to recording of
responses.
Highly organized individual capable of handling multiple priorities meeting deadlines and
managing time effectively
Experience in using technology tools and also possess the ability to master new technology tools
as required
Ability to work independently under minimum supervision as well as an effective team player
Locations can be any of the following
o All Tier 1 cities Delhi Mumbai Kolkata Chennai Bangalore Hyderabad etc.
o Tier 2 cities Ahmedabad Pune Lucknow Bhubaneshwar Bhopal Ranchi etc.
Willingness to travel locally / nearby locations / work remotely
Languages Known: Fluency in understanding and speaking in Marathi English and Hindi is preferable. However knowledge of any of the following languages will be advantageous.
