Position Overview
Fulltime faculty position in the Department of Ophthalmology focusing on delivering excellent patient care teaching residents and medical students and conducting highquality research in Comprehensive/Cataract Ophthalmology.

Minimum Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology fellowshiptrained in Comprehensive/Cataract eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated Experience in advanced cataract surgery techniques and technologies.
- Proven track record of academic contributions such as publications in peerreviewed journals and presentations at national or international conferences.
- Experience in resident and medical student education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on collaborative work and professional growth within a multidisciplinary team.
