Position Overview

Fulltime faculty position in the Department of Ophthalmology focusing on delivering excellent patient care teaching residents and medical students and conducting highquality research in Comprehensive/Cataract Ophthalmology.

Our clients facility is an independent nonprofit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of Washington DC offering a dynamic environment for medical professionals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology fellowshiptrained in Comprehensive/Cataract eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Experience in advanced cataract surgery techniques and technologies.
  • Proven track record of academic contributions such as publications in peerreviewed journals and presentations at national or international conferences.
  • Experience in resident and medical student education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on collaborative work and professional growth within a multidisciplinary team.
