Position:

Expert Product Owner

Responsibilities:

• Works within the agile process and is the final authority for decisions regarding priority business value and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team.
• Typically supervises several business analysts.
• Possesses an indepth knowledge of the goals and desired objectives of the project.
• Interacts and validates requirements with the business.
• Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an indepth understanding of a specific business domain (see skills).
• Creates maintains prioritizes and sequences the product backlog based on business value or return on investment.
• Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint.
• Is involved in the decisionmaking process related to user stories scheduling into sprints.
• Participates in project planning and daily standup meetings (SCRUM).
• Participates in retrospectives sprint and release planning demos and other Scrumrelated meetings.
• Reviews deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint.
• Organizes live demonstration of the product at the end of the sprint.
• Facilitates the acceptance of the product by the business.
• Develops and maintains standards for testing.
• Provides progress reporting.
• Assists with internal and external communication by improving transparency and dissemination of information.
• Assists with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs.
• May perform the role of Scrum master.

Knowledge and skills:

• Experience with large enterpriselevel multiuser Information Systems.
• Experience in Agile.
• Excellent knowledge of agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA Confluence BigPicture Gliffy Balsamiq etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle.
• Excellent knowledge of web application security
• Rapid selfstarting capability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge broker.
• Delegation and decisionmaking skills

Specific Expertise:

• at least 10 years of experience in project management with modern project management methodology (e.g: Prince2 PM2 PMI Scrum..)
• at least 10 years of experience with MS Project
• at least 10 years of experience with relational databases (e.g: Oracle)
• at least 10 years of experience in project management for projects using web technologies (e.g. Java J2EE and Spring framework or PHP)
• at least 7 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies
• at least 5 years of experience with GIT
• at least 3 years of experience with UML
• at least 2 years of experience with Kibana or PowerBI
• at least 2 years of experience in project management for projects using web services (REST and SOAP)
• at least 2 years of experience with Jira and confluence
• at least 2 years of experience in project management for projects using Sonarqube
• at least 2 years of experience in project management for projects using Angular 2
• at least 1 year of experience with DevOps

Certifications & Standards:

Mandatory certification (one of):

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
• SAFe Product Owner or equivalent.

Optional certifications:

• ITIL certification above ITIL foundation (or equivalent).
• Project management certification such as Prince2 PM or equivalent

Language:

English level C1/C2 MANDATORY

Education:

Masters degree of 5 years.
