Overview:
The Event Sponsor Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue through the acquisition of event sponsors. They are responsible for identifying and securing potential sponsors for events creating strategic sales plans and maintaining relationships with sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet sponsorship targets
- Identify and approach potential sponsors for events
- Negotiate sponsorship terms and agreements
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sponsorship opportunities with brand objectives
- Manage sponsor contracts and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits
- Attend industry events to network and identify potential sponsors
- Provide postevent analysis and reports to sponsors
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor sponsorships
- Ensure sponsor satisfaction and retention
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
- Proven experience in sales preferably in sponsorship or event management
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
- Understanding of event sponsorship trends and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel as required
Working Days: Monday to Friday
