Environmental Engineer/Scientist Industrial Monitoring Products and Services
Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting
company that has been in business since 1972. CleanAir s Advanced Monitoring Services team
located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and Palatine Illinois has an immediate opening for a fulltime
Environmental Engineer/Scientist to help grow its ambient air and industrial monitoring
products and services business.
Are you a person who embraces challenges and is not afraid to think outside the box Do you like to
tinker and attack a problem from all angles CleanAir is looking for a motivated Engineer/Scientist
with just this kind of mindset who wants to make a difference and can help our clients achieve their
environmental goals by applying cuttingedge measurement technologies. The candidate must have
a degree in Engineering Science or ScienceRelated Field and will work closely with Project
Managers in implementing certain project tasks. The candidate will perform as a member of a
multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in a flexible work environment.
The position will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Aid in installation operation and quality assurance of nextgeneration industrial emissions monitoring systems or network of systems
- Data analysis interpretation and reporting
- Participation in the development of new products and services
- Client engagement to identify new opportunities
- The candidate will work closely with Project Managers in implementing project tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Science or ScienceRelated Field
- 5 years of experience
- Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to tinker
- Effective written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to project locations in the US and globally
