They are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Officer/ Accounts Payable to join their
This role is permanent full-time Monday to Friday with the successful applicant being able to work from home on Wednesday s and Fridays after an initial period!
The main focus of this role is on the Payroll side but will also include assisting the Accounts Payable Officer with a limited number of creditor
The main responsibilities of the position will include:
Payroll side:
The processing of payroll on a fortnightly basis
Supplying and processing all on-boarding documents for new employees
Management of wage records and leave
Preparation and lodging of monthly payroll tax for lodgement with various states
Preparation and lodging of superannuation
Lodging of ATO returns for employee s taxes and complying with statutory requirements
Accounts Payable side:
Assisting the Accounts Payable Officer with a limited number of local and overseas creditor accounts
Checking and processing creditor invoices
Reconciliation of creditor statements
Preparation of payment schedules for approval
Requirements
To be considered the successful applicant will have:
A minimum of 3 years payroll experience
Accounts payable experience
Experience with Payroll software (preferably Sage Meridian Payroll)
An extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail
