Opportunity
We are looking for bright and energetic individuals to join the SMArtX Team to help us scale our technology solutions and grow our footprint in the fintech industry. Our Engineering Manager manages our team of engineers establishes the standards processes and environment for developers to build cuttingedge software and provides overall leadership to our engineers.

Position Requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading a team of engineers
• Background in modern development methodologies and management philosophies
• Experience with AWS and containerized architecture (AWS Solutions Architect level certification preferred)
• Experience with large complex APIdriven systems design
• Work closely with executives and other department heads to align engineering goals with company objectives.
• Focused on operational excellence and quality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for continuous learning and provide resources or training to team members to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices.
• Oversee the software development process and manage our lead engineers
• Actively participate in the professional development of team members identifying areas for improvement and creating plans for skill enhancement.
• Establish goals and timelines collaboratively with our CTO and Product team
• Encourage a culture of knowledgesharing and collaboration emphasizing the importance of collective problemsolving.
• Actively resolve conflict within the team promoting a healthy and constructive approach to addressing differences.
• Promote an open and inclusive culture focused on self and companywide improvement
• Act as a bridge between technical and nontechnical stakeholders ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals and progress.

• Demonstrated success with Agile Scrum Methodology

• Familiar with C# Python and Relational Databases
• Implement a culture of continuous improvement encouraging regular retrospectives to assess team performance and identify areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with the team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of engineering initiatives.
• Actively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in leadership and team dynamics.
• Experience with Test Automation Processes
