Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Assess the process for producing invoices or purchase statements receiving counterparty invoices supporting timely wiring of funds and cash relief.

Checkouts

• Assess transactions match up process with counterparty transactions at a detailed level including hour by hour in the case of physical power.
• Review process to resolve differences in a timely fashion.

Deal Validation

• Assess daily validation process for accurately entering deals into the trading system.

Confirmations

• Assess daily validation and confirmation process for financial deals confirm receipt of counterparty confirmations and respond timely and validate confirmations are signed and returned. Margining
• Assess process to perform daily calculation negotiation with counterparty and posting receiving and returning of margin.
• Assess process to calculate interest payable and receivable tracking of funds and balance by counterparty.

Contract Billing

• Assess the process for billing and reconciliation of all power and gas contracts including thirdparty tolling contracts.

Reconciliation

• Assess the process for account reconciliations for each general ledger account.

Journal Entries

• Assess Monthly closing accruals and journal entries process

Requirements:

BA Degree in Industrial Distribution or equivalent preferred

4 years of professional experience in Accounting Finance Fintech Operations

Job experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry a plus

Location: Hybrid Portland OR

Duration: 6 months
