Job Description
We are currently hiring for Embedded Hardware Engineers for one of our partner organization:
Position: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Qualification: BTech / MTech in Electronics & Comm. / Electronics/ Instrumentation /Power Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Experience: 2 to 6 years in Embedded Hardware development in safety critical systems
Job Purpose & Role: Jr Embedded Hardware Engineer works on HW Schematics Understand Architecture proposed by HW architect Review PCB layout Does Design calculation. Does project documentation like Hardware Requirement Specification Quality assurance document and SOP. Does Unit testing and provide Software team Software Hardware interface document.
Key Activities & Expectations:
- Rapid prototyping and POC development for concept proofing
- Follow Hardware design principles for safetycritical systems best practices coding guidelines
- Prototype development and Board bring up
- Understanding hardware schematics & data sheets
- Formulate test procedures at functional/module and system level.
- Softwarehardware integration testing and documentation
- Rootcause analysis identify issues and solutions to timely & efficiently achieve deliverables
- Debug and characterization of embedded boards
- Exhibit Team spirit and good communication skills
Key Deliverables:
- Schematics
- BOM
- PCB Layout review
- Component procurement
- Design Simulation
- Preliminary Design review and Detailed design review PPT
Skills Required:
- Knowledge Hardware interfaces like I2C SPI PCIe UART CAN RS422 RS485 USB etc
- Operating knowledge of Oscilloscope Multimeter Power supply and Function Generator
- Knowledge on Orcad Schematics and PCB Layout
- Good documentation on Microsoft word
