The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Drama Teacher to join a dynamic team at an outstanding secondary school in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a love of theatre and performance arts within students of all abilities at KS3 and KS4.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and stimulating Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 fostering a love for performance and theatre arts.
  • Develop and implement a rigorous and creative curriculum that aligns with national curriculum guidelines.
  • Prepare students for external examinations and assessments ensuring strong academic achievement.
  • Contribute to the schools wider performing arts program through plays productions and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Drama department and across the broader school community.
  • Play a proactive role in departmental development sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Person

  • A qualified Drama Teacher with a proven track record of success in a secondary school setting.
  • Possesses a strong passion for Drama and the ability to inspire a love for performance in students.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a dedication to professional development.
