DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Kickbase (located in Osijek or any other Croatian city) you will play a crucial role in optimizing streamlining and automating our development and deployment processes. You will be part of the senior crossfunctional engineering team primarily ensuring seamless integration of our services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development Collaboration and Workflow Optimization: Collaborate closely with development teams to engineer and manage streamlined DevOps processes. Optimize development testing and deployment workflows with a focus on industry best practices
• Version Control and Collaboration Mastery: Showcase expertise in leveraging Git (Gitlab) for version control and fostering collaboration within development teams. Establish and maintain impactful branching strategies implement effective code review processes and fortify integration pipelines
• Containerization and Orchestration Excellence: Drive the design implementation and management of containerized solutions using Docker for enhanced portability and scalability. Employ Kubernetes to automate deployment scaling and proficient management of containerized applications
• Efficient Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Systems: Implement and sustain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing seamless build processes and efficient deployments. Constantly monitor and finetune CI/CD processes to ensure peak efficiency reliability and speed
• Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for heightened scalability and reproducibility
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish and manage monitoring tools to track system performance and swiftly identify bottlenecks. Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications ensuring peak performance and scalability
• Security Best Practices and Compliance Assurance: Implement and enforce rigorous security best practices for infrastructure applications and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations safeguarding a secure and resilient environment

QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVES

• Experienced DevOps Professional: With at least 5 years of experience in the DevOps or Infrastructure field
• Technically Proficient: Skilled in various infrastructure technologies and tools with a keen understanding of automation cloud services and system administration. Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI Jenkins or CircleCI. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Shell or Bash. Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools preferably Docker and Kubernetes. Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus ELK stack)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
