DevOps Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead our clients reengineering of their system. As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with the development and operations teams to identify plan and execute the reengineering of our clients system.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Work with development and operations teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement and reengineering.
  
• Design implement and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines automation scripts and configuration management tools.
  
• Ensure that the system is highly available faulttolerant and can scale to meet increasing demands.
  
• Implement and manage monitoring logging and alerting solutions.
  
• Identify and mitigate security risks and ensure that the system is compliant with industry regulations and standards.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  
• Mentor and train other members of the team.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  
• 5 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
  
• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure i.e Azure and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
  
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  
• Handson experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
  
• Strong scripting skills in Bash Python or Ruby.
  
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  
• Excellent communication problemsolving and collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  

Nicetohave:

• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
  
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
  
• Familiarity with both Agile methodologies.
