Role: DevOps engineer

5 years experience in Release Engineering
Strong Unix knowledge
Hands on working knowledge in terraform puppet gitops docker and kubernetes
Able to multi task and switch between priorities as needed
Good communication skills
Prior experience in handling production issues
As this is a lead position ability to explain and articulate things to others
Hands on experience in JIRA and confluence
Experience with AWS is highly desired
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle & DevOps Practices
Expertise with Source Control systems (Git etc.)
Expertise with Build tools such as Maven Jenkins
Experience with Continuous Integration Environments
Strong scripting skills (ruby shell)
Experience with java app server e.g. Weblogic Tomcat
Experience with Infrastructure deployment tools such as puppet or chef
Experience with Deployment orchestration tools such as Capistrano
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
Basic understanding of networking terminology and layouts
