DevOps Engineer

• Assisting Cardiologists during Cardiac Catheterization, Endovascular procedures, and other diagnostic and interventional procedures and non-invasive tests/procedures.
  
• Providing safe, competent, and efficient care to cardiovascular patients within hospital policies and standards of care.
  
• Preparing patients for procedures, including proper positioning, shaving, cleaning, and ensuring all necessary paperwork, equipment, supplies, and instruments are available.
  
• Assisting physicians with diagnostic, interventional, and vascular procedures, setting up a sterile field, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patients.
  
• Ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies in the lab.
  
• Adhering to patient, employee, and lab safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
  
• Calibrating, troubleshooting, assembling, maintaining, and cleaning lab machines and patient monitoring equipment.
  
• Maintaining inventory levels of lab supplies and promptly reporting broken or missing equipment or supplies.
  
• Keeping records of equipment maintenance and updating quality control documentation.
  
• Verifying patient medical history, documenting patient services, and updating patient data in the EMR system.
  
• Monitoring patient physiologic and hemodynamic data pre, intra, and post-procedure, including completion of EKG/ECG and non-invasive tests.
  
• Reviewing physician interpretations and completing procedural reports.
  
• Collaborating, communicating, and interacting with physicians and staff, reporting abnormal findings promptly.
  

Requirements

• AHA BLS Certification
  
• Certification/Registration from a national accrediting agency in a specialty area of cardiovascular specialization (ie. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
