Job Description
As a key contributor, you will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues in the Platform Services team and reporting directly to the teams Head. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects in a dynamic team setting. You will work with various technologies and methodologies, including Puppet, Terraform, Git, Pipelines, Python, Azure DevOps Server, SCRUM, and different operating systems like RedHat and MS Windows server.
Requirements
- A minimum of 9 years of comprehensive experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), spanning across diverse roles including developer, system administrator, software engineer, infrastructure engineer, and DevOps engineer, among others."
- Utilize a diverse range of technologies and methodologies, including Puppet, Terraform, Git, Pipelines, Python, Azure DevOps Server, SCRUM, and various operating systems (RedHat/Ms Windows server), among others.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the domain of IT operations, specifically focused on the administration of Linux/Unix systems. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Linux/Unix Administration, especially with a proficiency level in Red Hat 7 or higher."
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on proficiency in Puppet-based configuration management, encompassing responsibilities such as design, architectural planning, development/configuration, and deployment/administration, with a preference for experience on Red Hat 7 or higher.
- Demonstrated involvement in a minimum of 3 projects that encompassed the implementation of Puppet-based solutions on Linux/Unix systems. Alternatively, candidates may present equivalent experience gained from substantial contributions to large-scale projects in this domain.
- Proven engagement in a minimum of 2 projects focused on server automation, involving tasks such as deployment and the implementation of standardized procedures using scripting languages like Powershell, Python, Bash, or analogous utilities.
