Job description: CT engineering team is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to assist the team in Installed Base engineering including effective assessment and investigation of field (customer) factory and supplier issues.
Responsibilities: - Investigate incoming field factory or supplier issues including part failures assembly or componentlevel issues part obsolescence issues improvement opportunities and cost reduction proposals.
- Assess evaluate and respond to assigned Supplier Change Requests (SCR) with appropriate urgency to ensure no supplier or manufacturing downtime.
- Own and present thorough and rigorous Engineering Change Requests in compliance with HealthCare Work Instructions.
- Drive the development of prototypes performance testing and design documentation as needed.
- Drive operational excellence of assigned designs projects and rigor with duties including design project reviews feasibility analysis cost benefit analysis prioritization resourcing initiation execution and closure.
- Assist with meeting global regulations related material compliance as well as Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and at least 3 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of standard drafting practices product structuring mechanical modeling and drawing practices and engineering analysis techniques.
- Experience with Client HealthCare design tools: Creo/Windchill Ansys My Workshop.
- Working knowledge of mechanical fabrication technologies.
- Basic understanding/exposure to electrical engineering and design constraints related to electronics and electrical packaging.
- Excellent documentation skills.
