The DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations by automating and streamlining processes managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring reliable and secure system deployments. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Implementation: Design implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP) and manage containerization solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to streamline operations and improve deployment efficiency.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement proactive measures for stability and security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software solutions.
- Security Compliance: Implement best practices for system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize system performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and container orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with infrastructureascode tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible) is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
