IRUBIS is a young, growing biotechnology start-up specialized in monitoring and control of bioprocesses. Our technology accelerates the development of drugs.

We are building a state-of-the-art system to provide our biopharma customers with information about their bioprocesses in the lab, in the office, at home and at any time. We process spectroscopic data to provide them with sophisticated data models. As the DevOps manager you will oversee the creation of a DevOps environment for our software development team, as well as establishing a secure and robust pipelines for our measurement data and analytical models.

Your tasks

As our DevOps Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Establishing a DevOps environment for our software development team.
• Creating and managing secure and robust pipelines for our measurement data and analytical models.
• Managing our software development team according to Agile principles, to include closely coordinating priorities between development and product management, helping to hire and on-board new software developers, establishing industry-standard software development practices.

Requirements

Your profile

• 2 - 3 years previous professional experience in a Software Development role.
• 1 - 2 years previous professional experience in a DevOps role.
• Excellent knowledge of Python.
• Previous professional involvement in developing a software product from design stages all the way to production and maintenance.
• Experience in building and managing data/models pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases and containers/container orchestration.
• Experience in working with Linux and Git version control.
• Willingness to manage a software team.
• Proficient in English and good German knowledge
