Job Description


Role Scope:
As a National Technical Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Technical Field Service Engineers across India. You will ensure the highest level of technical support and customer satisfaction by overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software products and attending to all breakdown and application problems. This role offers excellent leadership and career growth opportunities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of Technical Field Service Engineers, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that customer training and preventive maintenance are carried out according to company standards and procedures.
  • Oversee breakdown handling and ensure that technical issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that daily work reports and customer communications are accurate and professional.
  • Coordinate with the office administrator to manage field parts inventory, testing devices, and tools.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching/training to Technical Field Service Engineers to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Technical Field Service Engineers as needed.
  • Ensure that technical and customer requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices to ensure that the team is providing the highest level of technical support.
  • Take a proactive approach to work and lead by example.
  • Provide market information on competition and their activities.

Education/Experience

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics with a strong technical background and experience in hardware and software support.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proven experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate customer issues effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sense of urgency and willingness to travel as needed.
