Job Description
We are hiring several ER Admitting Clerks for an area hospital. These are evenings and graveyard positions that pay $13.00+ per hour depending on experience. In these positions you will be responsible for gathering and inputting patient data into the computer. You will be monitoring, verifying, and correcting patient information for accuracy. Shifts available are 3pm-11pm, 5:30pm-2am, and 11pm-7:30am.
Monitor and complete work queues.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and procedures to assist patients in completing forms.
Determine priorities of workload.
Obtain all information for registration of patients including obtaining and scanning required documents.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must meet the following:
High School diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in the medical field.
Ability to sit for long periods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to provide all required immunization records.
Ability to pass drug testing and a background check.
