Data Security and Protection Specialist

• Monitoring patients vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
  
• Identifying and reporting any abnormalities in the patients heart rhythm or vital signs
  
• Documenting changes in the patients condition and reporting them to the nursing staff
  
• Operating and maintaining telemetry equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly
  
• Assisting with patient care tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs, changing bed linens, and answering call lights
  
• Collaborating with the nursing and medical staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate and timely care
  
• Assisting with patient transportation and moving patients to different areas of the hospital as needed
  
• Participating in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  
• Ensuring patient confidentiality and maintaining a clean and organized work area
  
• Performing other duties as assigned by the nursing or medical staff.
  

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification
  
• EKG certification
  
• Must have completed a Telemetry Certificate Course or an Advanced Medical Technician Program (with a focus on cardiac monitoring)
