Data Scientist - Junior

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize data mining statistics and advanced analytics to generate actionable business insights
• Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analysis
• Create and maintain databases and data systems
• Perform adhoc analysis and present findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data
• Construct and deploy datadriven solutions to optimize business processes
• Communicate complex data insights effectively to nontechnical stakeholders
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data science and machine learning
• Work with large datasets and manage data integrity and accuracy
• Identify patterns and trends in data sets
• Conduct A/B testing confirm results and advise on next steps
• Contribute to the development and improvement of datadriven products and services
• Follow data privacy and security standards
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of data collection tools and techniques

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field
• 1 years of experience in a data science or analytics role
• Proficiency in Python R or similar programming languages
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Hive
• Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Capability to work independently and within a team environment
• Experience working with cloud platforms and services such as AWS or Azure is a plus
• Certifications in data science or machine learning are advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards in data handling and analysis
