As a Data Engineer AWS at Kezan Consulting you will be responsible for developing constructing testing and maintaining data architectures and solutions. You will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing data pipelines data structures and metadata to support and enhance business processes data modeling and data analytics.
- Design build and manage data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation data models schemas metadata and workload management
- Develop bespoke ETL solutions and ensure their seamless integration with existing systems
- Collaborate with data science teams to refine and optimize data science and machine learning models and algorithms
- Utilize programming skills in Python Spark and SQL to handle and process large datasets
- Implement and maintain AWS services such as AWS Lambda Glue Step Function and CloudFormation
- Utilize MS SQL Server for data modeling TSQL and managing business data and reporting
The ideal candidate should possess an advanced degree in computer science (MS) information science (MIS) data management information systems information science (postgraduate diploma or similar) or a related quantitative field. Alternatively equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Advanced programming skills in Python Spark and SQL
- Handson experience in AWS Lambda Glue Step Function and CloudFormation
- Proficiency in building bespoke ETL solutions
- Expertise in MS SQL Server for data modeling TSQL and managing business data and reporting
- Ability to design build and manage data pipelines for data structures
