CYPRESS QA engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and deliver highquality software solutions
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases using Cypress
• Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and eliminate software defects
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for continuous integration and deployment
• Identify document and track software defects to resolution
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle processes
• Provide timely and accurate testing status reports and metrics to project stakeholders
• Participate in peer reviews of test plans and test cases
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing
• Work with the development team to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth product releases

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in automated software testing using Cypress
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript Python or Java
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to analyze complex software systems for potential bugs and issues
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts
• Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Detailoriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
