Cyber Security and Infrastructure Architect

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute cybersecurity reviews and identify gaps in security architecture.
  
• Design the infrastructure architecture that enables the application architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
  
• Accountable for the infrastructure architecture roadmap and infrastructure lifecycle management.
  
• Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture.
  
• Provide oversight and facilitate the evaluation and selection of infrastructure technology and product standards as well as the design of standard configurations.
  
• Support project teams with infrastructure sizing implementation estimates and other architectural support throughout project phases.
  
• Provide technical architectural support to IT operations and project delivery teams.
  
• Consult with delivery teams regarding the most critical or complex infrastructure/architecture areas.
  
• Analyze architectures allocate security services and select security mechanisms.
  
• Determine security controls for information systems and networks and document them appropriately.
  
• Define appropriate availability levels for critical system functions and establish disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements.
  
• Develop and integrate cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilevel security requirements.
  
• Develop and address security architecture and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle.
  
• Ensure that acquired or developed systems and architectures are consistent with cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
  
• Read and translate technical diagrams specifications drawings blueprints and schematics relating to systems and networks.
  

Qualifications (Education & Work Experience):

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or equivalent.
  
• Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
  
• Excellent computer skills.
  
• 7 years of relevant work experience.
  

Other Job Requirements (Skills and Licensing or Certification Required):

• Experience working with common information security standards such as ISO 27001/27002 NIST PCI DSS ITIL COBIT.
  
• Experience in performing Vulnerability scans using Nessus Nexpose Qualys etc.
  
• Must be certified in CISSP CISM CISA CEH SABSA Chartered Security Architect or equivalent certifications.
  
• Knowledge of data center design principles including server and storage virtualization high availability disaster recovery and backup and recovery.
  
• Strong understanding of storage technologies such as SAN NAS and object storage and experience with storage systems such as Dell EMC NetApp or Pure Storage.
  
• Experience with networking technologies such as switches routers load balancers and firewalls and knowledge of network security principles.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with other IT staff members stakeholders and clients.
  
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment.
  
• Fluent in the English language.
