Our client is looking for a highly motivated Country Business Development Manager to expand our market share in the allocated Country by building sales opportunities and form connections with both existing and prospective clients. This is an excellent opportunity to find new ways to help us achieve our client acquisition and revenue goals.

POSITION
Country Business Development Manager (CBDM) IT Software Solutions


OVERVIEW
Responsible for overseeing the process of business development in Tanzania or allocated country to promote company longevity. The BDM duties include working closely with the management team meeting with potential business partners and maintaining existing client relationships and monitoring market trends to come up with new business ventures in the country allocated.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Selfmotivated enough to manage initial phase of business development through all industries and Organizations research to build a worth business database to analyze identify business opportunities awareness projections marketing events and generate revenue generation leads.
Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
Come up with Business Strategy that includes a Marketing plan.
Client Database creation and Management
Clients Relationship Management
Local Partnerships Relationships
Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth
Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
Creating positive longlasting relationships with current and potential clients
Running outbound campaigns (phone calls emails etc.) to create sales opportunities
Maintaining client activities in CRM
Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client specific business needs
Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
Developing rapport with key decision makers
Translating proposals into readytosign contracts
Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
Managing virtual and inperson sales meetings
Later recruit their sales team for Lead generation and business opportunities.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
Masters or Bachelor s degree in a businessrelated field with a Marketing option
Certified Business Development Professional or Certified Business Development Expert credentials is an added advantage
In addition to Degree a Diploma in sales and marketing
At least 5 years of experience in business sales marketing or a related field
Experience in ICT Technologies sales for example knowledge in IT Software solutions e.g. Sage software will be added advantage.
Extensive network in the Enterprise and corporate accounts.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
