Construction Site HSE Coordinator

Your Responsibilities

• You will be involved in the preparation of security documents (e.g. Risk assessment/work process description and work permit)
• You support the compilation and preparation of HSE data for the creation of reports and key figures
• You will work together with HSE representatives of the client and the subcontractors
• You will be involved in the coordination of activities on the construction site to ensure that activities are planned and carried out in accordance with the established HSE requirements
• You will assist in the investigation of incidents on the construction site to ensure that the root causes are identified as well as appropriate preventive/corrective actions and that all information is captured in the companys incident management system
• You will be visible on site and regularly carry out targeted inspections during which you will also have safety discussions with the staff
• You will be an active member of the HSE team interacting with onsite staff and embodying Hitachi Energys HSE processes
• You inform the team on site regarding compliance with construction sitespecific environmental protection measures (e.g. waste management protection of flora and fauna use of environmentally hazardous substances) and check compliance with these

Your Background

• You are fluent in German and English
• You would like to have some experience as a construction site HSE coordinator in project management
• You are qualified as an occupational safety specialist according to AsiG
• Behavioursbased occupational health and safety is a core value for you
• Through your open communication you are able to motivate others in a positive way as well as to resolve critical situations and conflicts
• Qualification as a safety and health coordinator according to RAB is desirable
