- Scrutinize the Egyptian regulatory environment to identify relevant regulation affecting the entity
- Ensure the entity's policies and procedures comply with the governmental laws associated with the sector in Egypt
- Work closely with the Group Compliance Officer to ensure consistency in policies and messaging with regulators
- Continuously research and manage Egypt’s sector regulations and other laws (e.g. consumer protection and public interest) to ensure internal policies and procedures are always up-to-date
- Work closely with the entity to oversee compliance procedures in all aspects of daily operations and advise on risk management
- Advise, oversee, and train the staff on Egypt's compliance procedures and educate on the impact on the organization caused by non-compliance
- Install robust and effective internal compliance systems of control to meet external requirements
- Pro-actively identify and manage Compliance risk
- Monitor and conduct periodic reviews of policy and procedure to track and report compliance and drive continuous improvement
