Communications Lead

Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the Communications Lead will implement the approved communications plan to share the Project’s learning and achievements with relevant stakeholders. This may include, but is not limited to the following:
• Manage the developed comprehensive communications plan to share results, technical reports, and lessons learned with our stakeholders.
• With the Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Lead, produce materials, augment training, and design multi-modal media campaigns to promote behavior change, food safety, nutrition, gender inclusiveness, and knowledge sharing across results areas.
• Ensure compliant branding of all deliverables and public-facing products under USAID and Feed the Future guidelines to clearly communicate that foreign assistance is from the American people. Develop and implement knowledge-management practices and mechanisms, in coordination with the Abt home office.
• Manage printing and audiovisual vendors for all communications materials including animation videos.
• Develop press releases and joint news statements and/or social media posts with the Project’s stakeholders.
• Finalize annual work plans, annual, and quarterly reports.
• Develop and submit weekly updates.
