Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Executing the installation supervision and system commissioning safely following all safety standards of Hitachi Energy as well as the customer.
• Reporting hazards, near misses at working location back to the office for records and further improvement.
• Supporting the engineering team by performing engineering tasks under the supervision of lead engineers during idle commissioning times.
• Carrying out the commissioning as per the documented process description and checklists.
• Continuous interactions with the engineering and project management team to carry out the site works effectively.
• Reporting the site progress & site plan.
• Ensuring efficient use of the commissioning assets.
• Initiating and monitoring risk mitigation plans in one's area of responsibility and ensure stakeholders are updated on associated technical risks.
• Preparing project documentation for SAT, and FAT as required.
• Obtaining approvals from utilities for commissioning activities of RTU, and SAS systems including scheme testing.
• First point of contact in case of interferences including problem-solving in close cooperation with customers and project manager and lead engineers.
