Co-Lending Partnerships Role - Financial Institution

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage potential colending partners to enhance our institutions lending capabilities.
• Evaluate credit risk financial statements and loan proposals to determine suitable colending partners.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of colending partnerships to ensure beneficial arrangements for all parties.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with colending partners to foster collaboration and achieve strategic objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments of potential colending partners to ensure compatibility with our institutions risk appetite.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align colending strategies with overall business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of colending partnerships making recommendations for improvements as needed.
• Stay updated on market trends regulations and industry best practices related to colending partnerships.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on the status and effectiveness of colending partnerships.
• Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote colending initiatives and establish new partnerships.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial institution management or related roles.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing colending partnerships.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis credit risk assessment and underwriting processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining partnerships.
• Ability to analyze market trends and industry developments to make informed partnership decisions.
• Proficiency in financial modeling risk management tools and MS Office suite.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to colending activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and external partners.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions based on risk assessment.
