Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Duration: 3 Months Contract Assignment

Location: Alameda, CA

Shift: AM

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the established care plan.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and positioning techniques.
• Serve meals and assist patients with feeding when necessary.
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Adhere to all healthcare and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Previous CNA experience is a plus but not required.
• Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
