Overview

The Clerical Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the office and providing support to the administrative team. This position involves performing various administrative and clerical tasks to maintain an organized and efficient office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including managing phone calls correspondence and filing
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies and equipment and coordinating maintenance as needed
  • Organize and schedule appointments meetings and travel arrangements for the team
  • Manage and update databases and records both physical and electronic
  • Assist with drafting and proofreading documents reports and presentations
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails and redirect correspondence as needed
  • Coordinate and support the onboarding of new employees including preparing paperwork and orientation materials
  • Assist in managing office events including scheduling logistics and coordination
  • Perform data entry documentation and other administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Support office policies and procedures and ensure compliance with company guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Proven work experience as an administrative assistant clerical assistant or related role
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work processes
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles may be advantageous
