Our client Facilization is in search of a dynamic Chief Operations Officer (COO) with extensive experience to spearhead their daily operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring streamlined service delivery to their valued clients in the banking and financial services sector. This leadership role encompasses overseeing project delivery leading a skilled team of sixty professionals and championing operational excellence across the organisation.

About Facilization

Founded in 2009 in Tirana Albania Facilization is an innovative IT services and software company specialising in comprehensive solutions for banks and financial institutions. With a team of industry experts we introduced proprietary software in 2014 focusing on risk management regulatory reporting and debt collection automation including legal and recovery processes for nonperforming exposures (NPEs).

In 2017 we expanded our footprint by establishing a subsidiary in Malta solidifying our professional presence in Malta and other European countries. Over the years Facilization has successfully implemented migrated customized and integrated core and digital banking systems across 7 European countries.

Tasks

The COO must have industry experience having worked in diverse setups like Fintech Managed Services Outsourcing IT Services Finance Banking Software Development or System Integration Consulting Companies. Experience in project and service management along with familiarity with Oracle Banking application implementation is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and adjust daily operations with clients as needed.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning and execution of growth strategies.
  • Foster a successoriented and clientfocused environment.
  • Promote effective communication and coordination within the company.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements to internal processes.
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Oversee budgeting reporting planning and auditing for all operations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science engineering business administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in an operations management position.
  • Deep understanding of HR Finance marketing sales and IT functions.
  • Competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Knowledgeable in the banking and financial services domain.
  • Experience in budget development and oversight.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on improvement and innovation.
  • Experience in project and service management; knowledge of Oracle Banking application implementation is a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and experience with contracts and agreements.
