August 2024 Start The school founded in 2016 is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain Haidian District in Beijing. The campus is 200000 square meters of beautiful gardens that integrate natural ecology cultural heritage and modern beauty with 140000 square meters of green space.

The school curriculum is organized into the Primary School grades K5 the Middle School grades 68 and High School grades 912. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Educations nineyear compulsory education program the curriculum is built on the strength from both Chinese and western education.
For Primary and Middle School the school follows a bilingual program using the US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards along with the Chinese National Curriculum. For High School the school follows the US Common Core and College Board AP curriculum and also offers the UK IGCSE and ALevel UK programs.

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry and Biology Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be adept at teaching both Chemistry and Biology to students at the secondary level. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of both subjects be able to create engaging lesson plans and foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for both Chemistry and Biology classes catering to various learning styles and abilities.
2. Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and inquirybased learning.
3. Utilize a variety of teaching methods resources and technologies to enhance student understanding and engagement in both subjects.
4. Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
5. Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning where all students feel valued and respected.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum share best practices and support student achievement across disciplines.
7. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with developments in Chemistry Biology and best practices in education.
8. Communicate effectively with students parents/guardians and colleagues regarding student progress concerns and achievements.
9. Foster a love for learning and an appreciation for the natural sciences through engaging and inspiring instruction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology Education or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
2. Valid teaching certification/license in Chemistry and Biology (or ability to obtain certification/license).
3. Previous experience teaching Chemistry and Biology at the secondary level is preferred.
4. Strong content knowledge and understanding of Chemistry and Biology concepts principles and practices.
5. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote inclusive learning environments.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
7. Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction to enhance student learning experiences.
8. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development in the field of education and the sciences.
