For our client a leading Irish food and convenience retailer in Co. Cork Ireland we are looking for an experienced Checkout Manager.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a Supervisor/Manager role in the retail environment and a minimum 3 years of experience as a checkout operator;
- Excellent communication organizational and time management skills
- Ability to engage with and prioritize customer needs;
- Accuracy attention to detail organized and flexible;
- Ability to delegate and work in a fastpaced environment
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- An advanced level of English is required
About the job:
- Permanent fulltime position
- If moving to Ireland from abroad you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that you would be paying around 90 € per week for a private room in the nearby area (utilities approximately 15 € weekly)
- Salary after tax in Ireland for this Checkout Manager position will be between 2.467 € to 2.647 € net per month (35.000 € to 38.000 € gross; before tax per year) for 42 hours per week
- Salary is paid weekly on an hourly basis
- Your duties will be: responsible for managing both the checkout and online department managing the staff at the checkout area including cashiers and baggers ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently resolving any customer issues related to the checkout area
