Company Background: IT solution and service provider

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:30am 6:00pm

Weekend and Public Holiday on Project basis (only if needed)

Working Location: Kwsn Perindustrian Terbau II Johor Bahru.

Salary Package: RM 3500 RM 5500

A Network Engineer in charge of designing implementing and support the IT network infrastructure for clients. Their duties include attending site surveys study project planning and implementation of the network infrastructure and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues.

Responsibilities:

Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel such as clients and vendors

Attending project study for system design and network infrastructure design

Prepare pre and postproject documentation

Install configure test and maintain network infrastructure

Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation

Provide Level2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA

Education and Experience Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent

Networking knowledge (OSI network layers TCP/IP Switching Routing VLAN Wireless)

Network security knowledge (Firewall EndPoint Security Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)

Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems

Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources

Proficient in English with excellent speaking and writing skills capable of handling calls and meetings with senior management customers and vendors

Handson experience with configuration monitoring and network diagnostic

CCNA/HCIA or higher

Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous

Minimum 3 years working experience in a network operation position
