Your Role:As a C Software Engineer at Ascom you will play a key role in improving and innovating our communication solutions for healthcare industry security and retail sectors. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing optimal software solutions assessing customer requirements providing estimations resolving customer issues and contributing to continuous improvement within our multinational R&D team.

What Youll Do:

• Design and implement optimal software solutions with a focus on functionality reliability and performance.
• Assess customer requirements and translate them into software features.
• Provide estimations and assist in choosing optimal solutions.
• Support resolution of customer issues and maintain existing products.
• Participate in design and code reviews to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on technical developments and new technologies.
• Collaborate within a crossfunctional and international team environment.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and programming software.
• Proficiency in C and ideally Java.
• Experience with Eclipse Visual Studio and agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of build & deploy automation DevOps unit testing and objectoriented techniques.
• Familiarity with .Net wireless messaging and hardware interfacing is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and experience working within agile development teams.
• Proficiency in English both oral and written.
